Essential Oils: The Basics for Beginners

Essential oils have been used for centuries because of their healing properties. There are so many varieties out there it is hard to know where to start or what is for you.

Using these oils can help improve your sex drive, have clear skin, lose weight, de-stress, and a host of additional positive side effects. It’s not just about the incredible smells they bring into your environment… there’s much more.

Here’s a helpful chart that I first used when I decided to unlock the secrets of essential oils.

Essential Oils and Their Healing Properties

Make sure to use a carrier oil, such as coconut or almond oil, if you are going to apply essential oils to your skin. Carrier oils are thicker and provide a “mode of transportation” for the more harsh and concentrated essential oil. Use 3-5 drops of essential oil per 1 ounce of carrier oil.

The oils we use come from the highest organic ingredients.

A MAJOR thing to be aware of is that the quality of the oils you use is paramount in their effectiveness.

Don’t just go grab whatever you see from the grocery store shelves.
